I added sources about the Breton name Hervé that obviuously derives of Breton houarn "iron", nothing to do with "battle", as show the Breton diminutives of the same name : Houarneau, Hoarnec and Hwarno Nortmannus (talk) 17:15, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
I highly doubt the pure Breton origin of Hervé, since Charivius (the 8th century dux of the ducatus Cenomannorum; Maine) was a Frank with the Frankish name Charivech. Compare Meroveus (Merovech) and Chlodoveus (Clovis; Chlodovech). Harachte (talk) 15:50, 16 November 2013 (UTC)
