Citations
editYou want citations, fine, I'll try to get them. Not sure what exactly qualifies as credible, but I'm pretty confident you'll find them satisfactory.
- A news report would be nice. Or just some sort of evidence outside of a rumour or a post on on bulletin board. (Also, if you sign your posts on Talk pages, that'd be great - you just press the button that looks like a signature above the text box, second from the right.) --Hamiltonian 20:13, 19 September 2005 (UTC)
- Amazing how the article did not even provide a link to the band's album. —Hollow Wilerding . . . (talk) 00:58, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
- It did previously. There was uncaught vandalism a few days before you posted this comment. Bearcat 17:22, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
Found this comment on the page: by the way linnea thompson is obsessed with hedley and loves them so much!<3 cut it and moved it here.--Wehwalt 13:18, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
Vanadlism
editI don't know much about this band but this is obviouly vandalised. Can someone take away all the bias statments?.--storms-eye
um. hedley's music isn't Homo-erotic by the way. so you might want to change that.
Unencyclopedic
editWhat's with all the stuff on homosexuality. Okay, maybe they support gay marriage or something, but the genre of their music is not "homo-erotic" and it doesn't have to be in the first sentence that they are "pro-homosexual" if that was even mentioned somewhere else. It is unencyclopedic. --154.20.217.225 07:26, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
- Looks rather homophobic to my mind... --Dark Jin 09:44, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
Move
editThis page should be moved to Hedley. --thedemonhog 22:45, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
- No, Hedley refers to many articles. --Dark Jin (likes you‽) 10:46, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
Resemblance
editis it just me, or does Hedley sound and act a lot like their fellow canadian pop-punk band Simple Plan? theres extreme resemblances the two have with eachother.. you know how their both hated quite a bit, sound similar, and both seem to have the same sort of personalities. I dunno, just thought it was an interesting point to make about the two. -unsigned
Lets get this Straight
editHedley is is first of all, a punk rock band (personally i love their music), it i not homo-erotic. and none of the band members are gay or homosexual.-muffydoodle
They sound extremly punk pop and no way are they punk rock. And they are hated a bit and they do exactly sound like simple plan though there lyrics are a bit more mature.
Well i think they have their own image and they are no way the same as simple plan- muffydoodle

Place of Origin
editIn the article it clearly states that the band was formed in Abbotsford, BC when in the infobox it states that they were formed in Vancouver. Seems to me the former is correct, thus I have changed the infobox. If you disagree, please discuss your thoughts here before making any changes, as per the note found when you click 'edit this page'. Thomasiscool (talk) 01:38, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
That's a tough one, as I think the pre-Idol Hedley was formed in Abbotford, but the post-Idol lineup was put together by record executives, probably in Vancouver. --128.233.85.50 (talk) 21:11, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

Updated Information
edit- Updated Tour
I noticed that the band's newest 2018 tour had not been added to the tour list. They are headlining their "Cageless" Tour starting February 2018 http://www.hedleyonline.com/tours just a thought! --Marakaflaka (talk) 17:48, 28 September 2017 (UTC)
- Clarification
I am also intrigued at the point made about the original band betting Hoggard $150 he wouldn't make it past Canadian Idol auditions. I feel as if there should be a source for this information, and expanded upon. --Marakaflaka (talk) 17:48, 28 September 2017 (UTC)

Necessity of including full statement
editIs it necessary to include Hedley's entire statement in the "Controversy" section? A shortened version and/or paraphrasing seems to be more logical. SiliconRed (talk) 21:21, 16 February 2018 (UTC)
