This page refers to "Lake Ashinoko" but that's redundant, since "ko" means "lake." Can we change this to Lake Ashi, or is there a Wikipedia policy or other reason not to?

A nontrivial question since this is a bit of a special case: technically "Ashinoko" is not "Lake Ashi", but "Lake of Ashi". But I'm OK with changing it provided any future dedicated page make the alternate name clear. Jpatokal 10:31, 17 Jun 2004 (UTC)
  • Hi, people! As seems to be the case very often in wikipedia, there were 2 articles about Hakone. I found the article Hakone,_Kanagawa and edited a lot some time ago. Today, I found Hakone. I merged the two pages at Hakone,_Kanagawa. Hope you're ok with that. Please update the new page, thanks. Ben (talk) 07:10, Apr 1, 2005 (UTC)

A linkage question

edit

Dear fellow Wikipedians,

Recently I created an English translation of the https://ja.wiki.x.io/wiki/箱根温泉 website at this URL: https://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Hakone_Onsen

Since the content relates closely to this page, where should the links be added? Also since this is my very 1st Wikipedia page, some of the formatting might be off. I am grateful for any advice about formatting and linking to other related Wikipedia webpages.
