POV
editI have tagged this article as POV, as it gives undue weight to the victims. Night of the Big Wind talk 14:46, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
- What weight should be given to the victims, in your opinion? Marokwitz (talk) 17:21, 1 September 2011 (UTC)

- It is utterly incomprehensible to me how one editor has the ability to hijack so many articles by pasting "neutrality disputed" on top of them with a completely nonsensical reason as happened in this case. To state that naming the victims gives them "undue weight" is not only callous but I fail to see how 40-odd words in a 500-odd word article can give anything "undue weight". I agree that the names and ages of the victims are not necessary in an encyclopaedic article and that the perpetrators of these kinds of barbarities need to be exposed to the maximum extent possible but an encyclopaedia is perhaps not the ideal medium for this. Regardless, it is clear to me from this user's past edit history here and on other WP editions that that is unlikely to be his motive anyways. Rather, it is much more likely that minimizing the exposure of the existence of anti-Israeli terrorism is this user's intent.

- I suggest that these hideous tags be removed as soon as possible by a more responsible editor.

- Long time not seen, Kalsermar, now you are gonna poke the fire up here with your pro-Israel-POV and ad hominem attacks? I like to have the articles neutral, not pro-whatsoever. At least the author could use the same visual presentation for perpetrator and victims. (and that also counts for the other disputed articles)... - Indeed! Hey, how is it going over here?

- Let's get to the issue at hand ok? For the benefit of others at least. Let's see....I mention the hijacking of articles with "neutrality disputed" tags. Also, I talk about "undue weight" and numbers of words of certain sections compared to the overall article and I agree with you, agree mind you, that the names of the victims are not entirely necessary in an encyclopaedic article. What do you do? Well, you accuse me of Pro-Israel POV of course! Tellingly, and as per usual, the exact nature of my so called "Pro-Israel POV" is not mentioned. When it comes to POV, "(m)ethinks thou dost protest too much!"
- I'll make it easy on you though.... point out one instance of inaccurate pro-Israeli POV on this en:wp (or the Dutch one for that matter!) where I jeopardized the integrity of an encyclopaedic article and where my position was not ultimately proven to be consistent with Wikipedia guidelines or the general consensus and I'll support you in this one all the way!

- I agree, this is utterly absurd. Complaining about "undue weight to the victims" and then dodging questions by answering the article requires a "complete rewrite". Yeah right. Kalsermar, feel free to remove the tag, this is simply a case of Wikipedia:Tag bombing. Unjustified tag bombing is a form of disruptive editing. Editors who engage in tag bombing after being asked to stop may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Marokwitz (talk) 19:21, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
