Bosona → HD 206610 – Following convention established by other articles on stars and planets named through NameExoWorlds. The designations are more commonly used than the proper names. SevenSpheres (talk) 17:28, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
- Comment - When choosing a title I was not aware of any prior discussion on stars and planets named through NameExoWorlds, which could be deemed as a case of establishing a precedent - if such discussion indeed happened, I am than neutral on whatever is decided, if it didn't than I would prefer current name over this dry, hard to remember, catalog number, which, by the way, are plenty, depending on which catalog should we chose from anyway.--౪ Santa ౪99° 19:09, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
- This and this were the original discussions in 2015; this was a more recent one. The relevant policy is WP:COMMONNAME; while every star has multiple designations from different catalogs, there's usually one that's most commonly used in the scientific literature. Even stars with traditional proper names often use designations as the article title, for example Epsilon Canis Majoris. SevenSpheres (talk) 19:34, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
- Support: when there are a predominance of sources using the proper name, then Wikipedia should use it. Until then, the "dry" designation is the WP:COMMONNAME. Lithopsian (talk) 19:58, 27 February 2023 (UTC)

- Support per above: the HD designation is currently a more appropriate title than the proper name. InterstellarGamer12321 (talk | contribs) 19:07, 3 March 2023 (UTC)
