Garðar Svavarsson

edit

Viking Garðar Svavarsson was the first confirmed human to spend a winter on the island. He gave the island the name Garðarshólmi. A monument near the schoolhouse remembers him. Which island? Iceland? The article is about a town. Enzedbrit (talk) 13:22, 21 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Lake

edit

Húsavík used to export silica that was extracted from the lake. What lake? The article doesn't mention a lake - it should state something like 'from the nearby lake *???* Enzedbrit (talk) 13:23, 21 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Icelandic Phallological Museum

edit

Is this museum still in Húsavík? According to the article at Icelandic Phallological Museum, it moved back to Reykjavík in 2012. Skinsmoke (talk) 07:51, 19 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
