Grammage (Properties)
editAccording to Wikipedia, "grammage" (i.e. area density) is used for paper only ... so its use here is strange. Furthermore, the stated quantities of 54 kg/m2 and 120 kg/m2 don't seem compatible with the densities given in the previous section. Prisoner of Zenda (talk) 11:33, 2 August 2014 (UTC)
Ancient usage in construction
editIn Crete at the palaces, (Knossos, Phaistos etc.) many signs say gypsum blocks were used in the construction. Since these palaces were build from 3000-1000 BCE how do the 'gypsum blocks' relate to today's? Maybe a historical use section could be added to this article by someone knowledgeable.
