Guy Murray has transformed the running program of Detroit Mercy and has made them a consistant contender for the conference championship. He has won many awards for his coaching over the years and has won many championships. He was an excellent division 1 college athlete and he is an excellent division 1 college coach. He is not just a notable person in Detroit but also by everyone in the Horizon League and other parts of the country.
