The name Gujar is also the name of a tribe in indian subcontinent, they are called Gujar, Gurjar Gujjar. These people have a very high R1a yDNA frequency. The name of the country of Georgia has also seem to be derived from the name Gurjar. The ancient Armenian Province of Gugark was also named after this tribe.
