Fully Immersed? Not Likely.

edit

When the nearby Chattahoochee River floods, the Scream Machine can be fully immersed in several feet of water.

I seriously doubt the Scream Machine can become "fully immersed" (become completely under water). I don't doubt that some portions can be underwater, but not the entire ride. Where's the reference for this claim? Shawn D. 17:24, 30 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

LOL, I think he's mistaking "immersed" with "submerged". THAT would be unlikely. Also: can anyone locate a citation to show that this is the roller coaster that appears in the music video for Paint It, Black? Asat (talk) 08:40, 16 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Flooding

edit

It's misleading if not incorrect to suggest that flooding may necessitate the removal of this ride--if any timber rots or needs upkeep for any other reason, it is replaced. The park has never indicated that floods from the Chattahoochee River would mean that the ride has any long term structural problems. In addition, the flooding section is poorly written. The section should be deleted. 69.76.194.17 (talk) 21:53, 29 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Height Restrictions

edit

According to the SixFlag website, the height restriction is 42" and not 48" Source: http://www.sixflags.com/overGeorgia/rides/GreatAmericanScreamMachine.aspx — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.127.94.7 (talk) 12:54, 14 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
