editThe Lexington Av line station (as well as GCT above) is not being air conditioned. They are being air cooled, which is a different process.

Does anyone think the name of the article should be switched from 42nd Street-Grand Central to Grand Central-42nd Street? Usually, the name of a neighborhood or point of interest (except colleges or universities) usually comes before the name of the street. Besides, the R142 and R142A's announce it as Grand Central-42nd Street. --imdanumber1 21:53, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
- A quick spot-check of the MTA website found inconsistent naming. It's 42nd Street–Grand Central in some places, Grand Central–42nd Street in others. However, the former is used on the MTA map, which is probably the piece of literature that customers encounter the most. Given that the map agrees with the current name, I see no reason to change it. If you see the MTA map in PDF format, it Says Grand Central-42nd Street. I think we should go with what the PDF version says since it shows more information, such as bus and rail connections, etc. So I think it should be changed.--imdanumber1 15:05, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
Pics
editThe first picture on top is of the 4,5,6 area, and its fine, but the second one (7 platform) below should be replaced by an updated one, because the platforms were reconstructed.
Spam blacklist
editI commented out the Brennan Abandoned Stations link because it apparently trigeers the spam filter with the text "http://www.co". Tinlinkin 07:57, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

LIRR at GCT
editThe infobox says that this station connects with the Long Island Rail Road at Grand Central Terminal but surely this won't occur until 2012 (at least) when the East Side Access project is completed. Boissière (talk) 19:38, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
- I agree, and I changed it. Marc Shepherd (talk) 18:37, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks. I hope you don't mind but I restored the "at Grand Central Terminal" bit which I thought was still pertinent. I have also removed a similar link to the LIRR on the IRT Lexington Avenue Line page. Boissière (talk) 10:42, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

Excessive external links
editAren't there templates where many of the Google Map links can be added to in order to cut down on the excessive links? Or would this be resolved by converting them into additional reference links? ---------User:DanTD (talk) 15:10, 16 October 2017 (UTC)
