Is Viktor Hartmann's project for the Kiev gate really related to the Golden Gate? I doubt in this. Here is his design, and I can't see any part looking like the photo of the Golden Gate. --Yms 11:21, 27 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Redirect fix needed

edit

Looking for information on "The Great Gate of Kiev", I kept being redirected back to Modest Mussorgsky's "Pictures At An Exhibition". In fact, I was coming FROM there, trying to find information about the gate itself.

In thirteen different editions of Mussorgsky's piece that I've looked at, the name in his final movement of the place where the gate resides is spelled "Kiev". In this article it is spelled "Kyiv". Quite likely, this is why my search kept being redirected back in a loop.

It is not my intent to quibble over the spelling. I merely wish to point out that *IF* the place name is going to be spelled in two different ways, then BOTH spellings need to be referenced in BOTH articles, so that follow up searches are properly directed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.95.43.253 (talk) 20:25, 23 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
