Glucose clamp as gold standard
editIn my opinion, reference 3 does not provide adequate evidence that the glucose clamp technique is, in fact, the gold standard for pharmacodynamic studies. In reference 3, this statement is followed by a reference to a document from the European Medicines Agency (European Agency for the Evaluation of Medicinal Products at the time: link). In there, the EMA states that time-action profiles using the euglycemic clamp technique should be available, which merely states that this is the preferred method, but not the only accepted method or a gold standard. 134.60.85.174 (talk) 13:17, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
