"Least acceptable standard..."
editHowever unimpressive Davis's play may have been, this is POV, unless such a standard can be referenced (or is taken to be common knowledge -- and I believe most of the basketball community would not agree on whether Davis was at or below standard for that game, for example).
Weight
editHis weight is listed differently at the beginning and at the end of the article. Jeremy Peter Green 18:00, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

Origin of nickname?
editSeems to me that the nickname "big baby" should have it's history included here (this is why I came to this article in the first place).DB 8870 (talk) 18:11, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
I was watching ESPN the other day and the profile for Big Baby stated he got his nickname from playing PeeWee League Football. Anyone got an article on that for a source? His nickname is a big part of his personality and I see it was crucial that an explanation for his nickname be given. AlmightyHamSandwich (talk) 01:33, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
Weight (units)
editWhy is Davis' weight also listed in stone? WP:UNIT says, In non-science US-related articles: the main quantity is generally expressed in US customary units (97 pounds (44 kg)). If the article was UK-related or written primarily in British English, then I guess it would be OK according to WP:ARTCON or MOS:TIES to use imperial units (i.e., stone) and then provide a conversion into lbs and kg per MOS:CONVERSIONS. I don't, however, see that as being the case here, especially since I cannot find any other examples of stone being used in articles about other NBA players (even current players who are British citizens such as Luol Deng, Steve Nash, Byron Mullens, Joel Freeland and Ben Gordon). - Marchjuly (talk) 05:00, 25 February 2014 (UTC)

BIG3 in infobox
editRegarding listing BIG3 stints and championships, there was no consensus previously at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Basketball/Archive_13#BIG3 to mention these in the infobox.—Bagumba (talk) 08:11, 27 August 2018 (UTC)
"Baby Beluga"
editThere is an edit war going on over whether "Baby Beluga" is a valid nickname for Glen Davis. As far as I can tell, this was added in a vandalism edit here, and all of the 27(!) Google results for "glen davis" "baby beluga" are clearly derived from the Wikipedia article, and after the vandalism edit.
This should stay off the article - it is being reused by news organizations who are taking their cues from Wikipedia, and was recently on the New York Post article until it was removed in a later revision, probably because the post editors were wise enough to figure out it was Wikipedia vandalism. 189.217.82.171 (talk) 16:36, 7 October 2021 (UTC)
