Contradiction

Confusion of two people
editThis article has confused two General George Wardes, uncle (1725-1803) and nephew (1760-1830).
The uncle, who this article is about, was a childhood friend of Gen. Wolfe and served as Commander-in-Chielf, Ireland etc.
The nephew married Charlotte Madan and lived at Clyne Castle, Swansea (then called Woodland Castle).
I have removed the parts about the nephew.
