Broadcasting
editRadnich was fired by KNBR (radio) effective June 21, 2019; he had done his radio show on June 20 with no mention of leaving, and announced his 'retirement' via Twitter the next day.[1], He'd left KRON (TV) in 2018. Somebody should update page. 2002:48FB:1B06:0:0:0:48FB:1B06 (talk) 21:32, 24 June 2019 (UTC)
He had lost interest in his show and had stopped prepping for it. He admitted that he had not watched important games. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Seki1949 (talk • contribs) 20:51, 3 March 2023 (UTC)

"Gary-isms"
edit- "For the millionth time..." is used to preface an oft-repeated story or point, where supernumerary figures may be substituted.
- "f-off" usually follows double-entendre jokes.
- "What are you sucking
- "Hi, Tommy T. here..." is an impression of fellow KNBR host Tom Tolbert's commercial obligations.
- "Does that make sense?"
- "Keep both hands on the table", "Grabbing his/your/my crotch", "Holding himself", "Watching/listening with one hand" and similar hand-to-genitalia imagery all refer to the zealousness of sports fans
- "It's now 9:17 PM", "Call back between 9pm and midnight" follows "hardcore" sports talk. Gary often acknowledges the difference between the brisk and light-hearted nature of morning drive and the argumentative and detailed style of night time call-in shows in a sports talk radio format.
- YES,GARY IS A MORON
- "Hoovering", "sucking" and "blowing" are all used to recognize effusive praise.
- "I'm being half-serious", "I'm only half-kidding" is Gary's way of making a strong point to someone while softening the blow.
- "Our demographic" Gary's reference to the 18-54 age demographic desired by media sales and advertising.
- "NOBODY CARES ABOUT RADNITCH
- "When I talk to rich white men,I'm talking to people I relate too"
Sound Drops
editMike Hohler, producer of Radnich's KNBR show betwen 9 a.m. and noon, is often recognized for his affinity for sound drops. He's archived many clips that are designed for common use. Below is is list of those most freuently used.
- "You've gots to get down!" (Dan Dibley's A MORON* "Look at me and look at me good." (DAN Dibley IS A JERK)
- "Lee Hammer says 'No'" and Lee Hammer says 'Yes'" (Quest Dibley/Duane Kuiper)
- "BYE BYE" and "GOOD-BYE" are often heard before an annoying, disrepectful or boring caller is dropped.
- "BYE BYE SALINAS" often closes a phone call made from Salinas, California.
- "Break?! I know we're gonna break! What the hell is going on here?!" is commonly used by producer Mike Hohler before commercial breaks.
- "MIKE" also used before breaks. (Quest Dibley)
- "HEY GARY, KISS MY ASS; WOULD YOU QUIT WRAPPING ME UP FOR THIRTY SECONDS?"
- "Go Sharks!" (Ralph Barbieri/Dan Dibley's younger son Keon)
- "Oh no..." (Ralph Barbieri)
- "Who does that?! Who has time!"
- "Where'd you grow up punk?!"
- "YES!" (a random Lamont & Tonelli Rock Girl contestant)

Disability
editMr. Radnich, affectionately called "Three Finger Radnich" during his playing days, only has three fingers on one hand, and despite this fact he was a star basketball player and went on to a very successful TV career. His ability to overcome this disability is a source of great inspiration not only to people with disabilities, but to everyone.
Except-he's ashamed of his disability and hides his hand under the desk, under papers, and in his pocket. He's never spoken about his disability and ridicules other like Kareem Jabbar for talking about his cancer or Jerry West for his depression "Keep it to themselves" he has said often on KNBR.

This page states that Gary hosts a half-hour segment with Tony Bruno from 11:00 to 11:30. That segment was cancelled in August of 2011. Elaloo (talk) 09:24, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
- Done, thanks. Sorry for the extra hassle of having to do a request here, drop me a note on my talk page if I can assist in any other changes. --joe deckertalk to me 13:31, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
