Fair use rationale for Image:Union Gap (album).jpg
editImage:Union Gap (album).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Removed Meth Information
editI removed the following:
In August 2007, Pucket, along with 3 others were arrested for possession of, with intent to distribute, methamphetamines. [1]
Based on the age and location in the article, it was not this Gary Puckett. Besides the name, it was falsely associated this morning on 99.1 by Adam Corrolla.
Bizarrely Pedophilic?
editUnless the singer is warbling about his love for a pre-pubescent 10-year-old, I think this description is "way out of line."Lolliapaulina51 (talk) 15:38, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
- I agree, it really is not an accurate description. It is part of a quotation from someone else, published elsewhere, so I think the best solution will be to either remove the quotation entirely or place it further down in the article. Andrea Parton (talk) 16:40, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

Copyright problem
editIn this edit, text was pasted into this article from [2]. The article remains an unauthorized derivative of that work. It either needs to be completely rewritten or restored to the version prior to the copyvio. I've blanked the article to give interested contributors an opportunity to address the matter. It will be revisited by an administrator after one week. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 19:02, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

This band article seem to lack a Rdr from its leader's name, even tho his career outlasted theirs
edit This band article seem to lack a Rdr from its leader's name, even tho his career outlasted theirs. Perhaps the title is correctly chosen (since, to speak frankly, it's often the only way I can break out of confusing him with Gary "U. S." Bonds). I believe linking to his name will be the means for using this iPad 2 to create the appropriate link. Or not, WTF.

- Gary Puckett redirects to this article (if that is what you mean by "Rdr"). What's the problem? Ghmyrtle (talk) 06:46, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
...formed by Gary Puckett, Gary 'Mutha' Withem, Dwight Bement, Kerry Chater and Paul Wheatbread, who eventually named it The Union Gap. Alternately featuring light-gray or dark-blue costumes based on the Confederate or Unionist army uniforms worn during the American Civil War. [[3]] (94.140.175.55 (talk) 09:51, 8 October 2019 (UTC)).
