If a batted ball hits the pitching rubber and is then caught by a fielder before it touches the ground is this an out?

Ball Above Foul Line

Stands Subculture

I notice the article makes no mention of the entire phenomenon of catching foul balls in the stands at baseball games (especially Major League Baseball games). Given that fans (1) face danger from batted balls that go into the stands, (2) regularly go to strenuous measures to grab foul balls, and (3) prize foul balls as souvenirs, does the foul ball subculture deserve mention? I'd write about it myself but I'm leaving it to the professionals to decide whether the language is best suited to be inserted somewhere else. Using a word in its definition

Where is "foul"? As in "A foul fly shall be judged according to the relative position of the ball and the foul line" however I don't know what a foul line is either. This may make sense if you're already familiar with baseball, but I can't figure it out. Perhaps draw a diagram that shows all the fair and foul lines and areas? foul territory

When a ball leaves the park foul but curves into fair territory past the foul pole it is still foul although this situation is NOT covered in the rules as stated. I've read (but do not have a reference) that prior to 1920 such a ball would be a home-run but modern rules designate it a foul ball.
