Linking to HoF balloting
editI'm not sure that the current practice of linking a year to its corresponding HoF balloting is appropriate, as the balloting pages refer to Hall of Fame induction balloting only, and (rightly) make no mention of the Frick or Spink Awards. Not linking at all would be more appropriate, IMO. Thoughts? Brad E. Williams (talk) 12:52, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
- You're right. It should only link to a page that directly concerns it. --Muboshgu (talk) 14:24, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
- Cool, glad I wasn't completely off my rocker. :-) One other thing that I just noticed - shouldn't "Inductee" be "Honoree," per the Hall's official terminology? Brad E. Williams (talk) 14:26, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
- Yes you're right, that was my bad. They're not technically inducted into the HoF. --Muboshgu (talk) 15:57, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
- I went ahead and made that change here as well as on the Spink Award page. Brad E. Williams (talk) 14:34, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
- Excellent. I took a quick look at that page before I left for work and realized it was more than a simple find-and replace, so I was gonna leave it for later. --Muboshgu (talk) 15:57, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

Commissioner
editIsn't the Commissioner's title simply "Commissioner of Baseball", not "Commissioner of Major League Baseball"? He has ultimate authority over all of "organized baseball" in North America (all of professional baseball except for a few minor "independent leagues"). 72.104.144.56 (talk) 02:03, 18 September 2015 (UTC)
