"ffytche" capitalization

I've seen the surname ffytche (and that spelling only) occasionally written without a capital letter. Examples would include several people found in this Google search, including a Dominic ffytche, a Matt ffytche, and an Ayla Brady ffytche. There was no capital letter f and people wrote two ff to capitalize their surname. Okay.

I edited this bit "William de Gernon who inherited the barony of Stansted Mountfitchet in Essex, England and took the surname "de Montifitchet". His ancestors eventually shortened " into "His scions eventually shortened", mostly because the earlier version seemed to imply time travel, in a forward direction. Now, I'm not a native english speaker. Actually, I'm not native speaker of any germanic language, or even speaker of an indo-european language. I'm also drunk and got this page while doing a "click Wikipedia link after another Wikipedia link " for an hour or so, while being drunk. Anyways, its what I did and I'm only a drunken finn.
