Untitled
editThis article has a significantly biased point of view. The world view of feminists is presented as fact, despite no evidence being provided that their theory may be correct. There is no section for criticisms of the theory except to mention that it may not fully describe women who are also 'racially oppressed'. No suggestion at all that it may be entirely false, no mention of it's extremely controversial nature. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.132.159.188 (talk) 07:24, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

I feel a little betrayed.
edit"Feminist sociology approaches sociology by observing gender and its role in social structure.", okay... But then, "Feminist sociology studies the current climate of feminism in relation to all other interactions of society." I thought feminist sociology was going to be feminist, but no! According to that sentence, it's sociological study of feminism in society. (I don't know which the term is commonly/actually used to mean, partly because I can't access any of the references/links, though maybe "citation needed" should be in some places too.) "Feminism is in its third wave of thought, ..." And the third sentence of the article and onward just is some feminist sociology (as defined by the second sentence)??? Maybe a good writing technique, just not what I'd expect from an encyclopedia. —Isaac Dupree(talk) 02:44, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
Article needs help
editI've tidied the opening paragraph up but this article is still a bit of a mess. Generally, considering how good the main feminist portal is, information on this page which is not specific to sociology, and is repeated but only in poorer language and without quotations, might just as well be deleted. We only need to say "Feminism is a conflict theory and sociological object of analysis/perspective" - after that, anything which is poorly implemented might just as well not be included. --Tomsega (talk) 11:48, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
