Shouldn't we use English instead of Malay? I suggest we move this to Federal Territory and redirect Wilayah Persekutuan to the former. __earth (Talk) 13:13, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
- Yes of course. Although Malay is the official and national language in Malaysia, English is also used too! - Aiman Ab Majid 1 October 2006

Fair use rationale for Image:Msia-crest.jpg
editImage:Msia-crest.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:20, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Federal Territory Ministry
editThe fact in dispute is the establishment of the ministry. This ministry (in one form or another) was firts created in 1878 after the creation of Kuala Lumpur as Federal Territory. Long during the Mahathir's administration, the ministry was dissolved and its reponsibilities was transfered to other ministries mostly to the Prime Minister's Office. In 2004, Abdullah 're-created this ministry by appointing (from my POV) an ally to this post. The notion that this ally is the first minister is therefore disputed. --Tikar aurum (talk) 20:03, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Flag of Putrajaya.png
editThe image Image:Flag of Putrajaya.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.

3 FTs or 1 FT?
editHi, I just wish to ask, do we have 3 Federal Territories, or 1 Federal Territory comprising 3 cities?
I tend to believe the latter is correct, but most people take it as 3 separate Federal Territories.
The way we say it, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Labuan, Federal Territory of Putrajaya, reinforces the assumption that the former is right.
If there is just 1 FT with 3 cities, our addresses should say Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory, just like we have Kota Bharu (district), Kelantan (state). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gabriellim8817 (talk • contribs) 17:26, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
