Hello User:ChrisGualtieri, I am going to be reviewing this article to see if it matches the criteria for Good Article. Typically, I will quote a portion of the article and then explain what needs to be fixed. Nice work, btw.--12george1 (talk) 23:47, 20 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

  • "off the coast of Guilford, Connecticut, USA." - I don't think postal abbreviations are allowed. So just say United States instead of "USA"
Fixed. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 04:53, 21 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • "been used by the native Americans for thousands of years" - Shouldn't "native Americans" be "Native Americans" since you are referring to an ethnic group?
Fixed. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 04:53, 21 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • "The first recorded name of the Falkner Island was used by the native Americans.[1] " - Ditto
Apparently you fixed this--12george1 (talk) 15:41, 21 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • "In 1800, Noah Stone sold it to a distant relative named Medad Stone for $158.34." - Just curious, do you know how much those old money values would be equivalent to today? $158.34 might have been a lot of money back then. Investigate the other money values later in this paragraph too. If you can't find out, then I will just let it slide.
Fixed. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 04:53, 21 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • "The erosion control project was completed, but Hurricane Irene and Hurricane Sandy greatly reduced the breeding habitat of the terns to just 50 square metres (540 sq ft).[6]" - Do you know the size of the breeding area before Irene and Sandy? Again, if you can't find out, then I will just let it slide.
I believe I seen some estimations on it, but the source was not really reliable - I think it was a blog. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 04:53, 21 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • There is more information about the effects of Hurricane Sandy and repair efforts following the storm at the story on the bottom. The headline is: "Dock rebuild scheduled for Connecticut’s Falkner Island"
Good find! Added, but following the link goes to Flickr, so the newsblurb is good. Most up-to-date for now. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 04:53, 21 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • Not sure if this is just one of my project standards, but the reference publication and accessdates should be of the same format. For example, you can have "January 1, 2010", "1 January 2010", or "2010-01-01", but not a combination of the three.
All fixed. ChrisGualtieri (talk)
  • Accessdates needed for references #1, #2, #3, #6, #8, and #9.
Publications do not need access dates and do not have them in the templates to begin with. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 04:53, 21 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
You sure? I tried myself (did not save, of course) and all of these references are capable of using |accessdate= --12george1 (talk) 15:41, 21 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
@12george1: - Ready for another look. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 04:53, 21 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
@ChrisGualtieri: - Fix the accessdates and I will pass this article. It is possible to use |accessdate= --12george1 (talk) 15:41, 21 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
I added them. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 17:17, 21 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
I will now pass this article and list it as a Good Article. Congratulations,--12george1 (talk) 02:36, 22 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 04:06, 22 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
