cleanup

edit

I did a fair bit of work on this article using existing information. I think it still requires some cleanup, though. Ingridjames (talk) 06:54, 17 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Archive unreferenced alumni

edit

NOTE: Do not re-add these alumni until you provide reliable sources for their attendance at Fairfax. This is for archival purposes only.

Notable graduates of Fairfax High School include:

Raymond Washington

edit

While it's entirely possible that Raymond Washington did attend Fairfax, we need a better reference than statesman.com, which is a wiki.

Sports

edit

I don't know what is "routine" in high school sports world, but here are some articles I found:

My husband Russ Ray graduated in ‘57. He became the President and CEO of 3 airlines. Pan American, Pacific Southwest and World Airways. Perhaps you might consider him as a “Notable Alumnus”. He loved Fairfax which formed the foundation for years that followed. Thank you for your consideration as his health is deteriorating. P.S. Boys Vice Principle Sam Hammerman in particular was Russ’s special mentor and role model. We would be honored if RUSS could be included as a “Notable Alumnus. Thank you. Please consider including my husband Russ Ray 53’ in your List of notable alumni. After serving in the military Russ became President and CEO of Pan American Airlines, Pacific Southwest and World Aorways. Thank you, Audrey 134.6.128.178 (talk) 00:41, 30 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, but we don't do memorials. We list WP:NOTABLE alumni, usually only those who have an English Wikipedia article showing their notability. As his wife you have a conflict of interest and should not write an article about him yourself. If you believe he is notable you may request an article about him at WP:REQUEST.
