BAT?
editBAT does not have an explanation nor an article on itself; therefor it needs an explanation right here. I am not even sure myself what BAT means - maybe Baidu, Alibaba Group, and Tencent, the Big Three Internet companies in China - but I cannot be sure! --84.115.204.126 (talk) 01:06, 25 November 2018 (UTC)
- An editor, who shall remain nameles (edit summary: fix disambig), "repaired" my link to BAT where I found a wiki reference -- apparently it is not article-worty, yet. WurmWoodeT

Merge to "Big tech"
editThere is a page merge discussion going on right now over at Talk:Big Tech, suggesting that we merge the Big Tech and the FAANG articles. As of 2020-02-09 3:08 UTC, the FAANG article contains two links to articles that have already been merged:
- Big Five (technology companies) (Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Alphabet, and Facebook)
- Big Four tech companies (GAFA)
It seems to me that the most sensible resolution of this situation would be to include "FAANG" in the Big Tech article, having a section for each of the substantial groupings (e.g. GAFAM, GAFA, FAANG, BATX) rather tha having separate articles for each. If this article does not get merged into Big Tech, then the article needs substantial revision to be worthy of an article of its own, and to make the distinction with the other "Big Tech" groupings clear. -- RobLa (talk) 03:09, 9 February 2020 (UTC)
Big Tech and FAANG are two very different things. One grouping has to do with monopolistic companies in the tech industry and the other high performing stocks. XXeducationexpertXX (talk) 09:13, 12 February 2020 (UTC)
