GA again?

Evesham - ready for GA?

edit

Something on my watchlist recently drew my renewed attention to this article. A couple of years ago several of us spent some time improving and expanding this article with the aim of hetting it to GA. On further review, I believe it is very close to GA as it now stands. The review will of course reveal areas for further improvement, but it generally failed uncontentiously because at the wrong moment some of us were not available to address the points raised. What do we think about re-nominating it? Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 02:52, 24 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

The first picture is out of date

edit

The first picture is out of date because in 2008 a new bronze sculpture "The vision of the swineherd Eof" was placed on a stone plinth (there being a titanium time capsule beneath the plinth) that stands in the area in front of the black and white building. The statue is beautiful.

There is a picture in Google street view. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C7:3195:AC01:F031:CB7C:9E8F:DBDE (talk) 17:55, 29 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

The statue is actually around the back right hand side of the building as it's photographed so I believe the photo is still okay to use as it is. 80.189.133.88 (talk) 16:34, 26 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Redirected to Evesham from the Vale of Evesham but Vale of Evesham is larger

edit

Redirected to Evesham from the Vale of Evesham but Vale of Evesham is something bigger. Is it possible to find out if a Vale of Evesham article once existed and can we get it back if so and work on that or can we perhaps create one? Of particular interest to me is researching what area this actually extends to. I am working on a list which I can contribute but I came to Wikipedia to actually help verify it originally but such a list or an article about the larger area does not exist. 80.189.133.88 (talk) 16:29, 26 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

It is basically about notability; see Wikipedia:Notability. The question is whether there are significant sources discussing the Vale of Evesham. I expect there are. Jim Killock (talk) 12:20, 1 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
