Photographs of Eurasians

edit

A photograph of Singaporean Eurasians to illustrate this article would be nice. Would anyone care to contribute one or two? Cheers, Jacklee 05:54, 20 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Alphabetical arrangement of list of prominent Eurasians

edit

Hi, GavinTing. Actually, the list of prominent Eurasians was already in alphabetical order – by surname. It is more conventional to arrange names in alphabetical order by surname. Shall we change it back? Cheers, Jacklee 13:18, 19 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Oh, terribly sorry, I didn't notice that. Personally, I believe that most Singaporeans will arrange people by first names. If you prefer, you may revert my edit. =D GavinTing 14:16, 19 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I've reverted your edits to the original arrangement. By the way, do you think you're in a position to improve the article? I think it needs a lot of work as some of the sections are very short on information. In particular, the section on modern Eurasians presents a rather stereotypical, and in my view possibly unjustified, view of Eurasians. Cheers, Jacklee 15:26, 19 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

A citation is glaringly lacking. Kraikk (talk) 03:53, 21 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Roelckes in Singapore

edit

I am very surprised to see a reference to a Roelcke family in Singapore. The Roelckes are a very small clan worldwide, I know almost all of them, and I am unaware of any Roelcke in Singapore. Can the author supply details? Thanks a lot! Gottfried Roelcke 116.99.18.125 (talk) 04:59, 20 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Religion

edit

Have removed "However, a significant minority follows Islam." from the section "Religion". Please cite your source if you intend to add this back. BlueStream (talk) 17:00, 27 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

I have reverted this edit and added a citation needed tag. Please do not remove text at will, without consensus. Qwerta369 (talk) 18:33, 27 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
