Poor start

edit

The first paragraph is very obscure, especially the sentence "Epic theatre emphasizes the audience's perspective and reaction to the piece through a variety of techniques that deliberately cause them to individually engage in a different way." (different from what? and how?) It needs to be recast. Deipnosophista (talk) 09:08, 14 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Awkward introduction to Brecht

edit

The sentence "Epic theatre incorporates a mode of acting that utilises what Brecht calls gestus." comes before any mention of Brecht, who he is, or how he relates to Epic Theatre. Awkward and confusing. Shakesmcfadden (talk) 21:50, 29 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
