edit- According to the Wikipedia:China-related topics notice board/Complete to do#Liao Dynasty (last entry in that section), this should be at Emperor Tianzuodi of Liao China. Alf 18:37, 23 August 2005 (UTC)
- are we using the other variants as redirects? Nateji77 04:46, 25 August 2005 (UTC)
Birth name
editthe source[1] i used has his birth name as yelv chun, whereas the table at Liao Dynasty has it as yelv yanxi.Nateji77 04:46, 25 August 2005 (UTC)
- Yelü Chun was Yelü Yanxi's uncle. See Northern Liao for more on him. Timmyshin (talk) 07:54, 22 September 2014 (UTC)
Death
edit- "In 1156, in an act of humiliation, the Jin emperor who at the time was the Prince of Hailing ordered him and the former Emperor Qinzong of Song to compete in a match of polo. Emperor Qinzong was weak and frail, thus quickly fell off the horse. Yelü Yanxi himself was more familiar to horse riding, tried to escape but was shot to death by Jurchen archers."
It doesn't make much sense. Emperor Tianzuo of Liao was 81 years old. The former emperor Qinzong of Song was 56 years old.Tipo de incógnito (talk) 01:28, 30 September 2018 (UTC)
Yeah thats weird. The Khitan timeline says that he died in 1128 on captivity so theres a contradiction there as well - AcibFel
