An estimate of the number of members is needed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.183.73.137 (talk) 15:33, 15 February 2014 (UTC)
- With 100 members per church and 9000 churches world-wide, some estimate can be formed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.183.73.137 (talk) 15:45, 15 February 2014 (UTC)
- The 100 figure per church is based on that for the Pentecostal Church of God. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.183.73.137 (talk) 15:52, 15 February 2014 (UTC)
Lists of churches
editIn this edit [1] Jamiedaniels12 has reverted in a list of some Elim churches that I had removed because they were not notable (in that they have no Wikipedia page). There is no edsum on the reversion, but I am guessing the argument is something along the lines of these are the Elim churches that do not call themselves "the Elim church, x". But the list is editor curated. If I have guessed right, we need treatment of these as a list in a source to show that they are a limited set of exceptions. I don't think they are. Quite a lot of Elim churches have moved away from the old naming, and we can't just have the ones that editors notice. For now I'll slap on a citation needed, but I wonder what the utility is of such a list. Much better to list the notable Elim churches, as such a list would lead to actual Wikipedia pages.
