Spelling

Shouldn't this be spelled eleutheroschisis "free-splitting", from Greek ἐλεύθερος, "free"? This spelling gets a lot more Google hits. Maybe the spelling used here is based on that found the single reference work cited, which may reflect non-standard or non-native speaker usage.
