Highest capacity?
editTwo eight-car sets can be coupled together for extra capacity: a sixteen-car E4 series formation trainset carries a total of 1,634 seated passengers - the highest-capacity high-speed rail trainset in the world.[1] 26 units were built between 1997 and 2003. As with the earlier E1 series trains, maximum speed is 240 km/h. If they are onlu capable of 240km/h then they ARE NOT true High Speed Trains ... if trains under 250km/h are considered high speed then there are other trains with greater capacity.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.132.10.158 (talk • contribs) 00:46, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
200 series and E1 series replacement reasons?
editCan anyone tell me why the E4 series Shinkansen replaces 200 series and the E1 series? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Clrichey (talk • contribs) 23:38, 15 February 2020 (UTC)
