A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on October 30, 2015. The text of the entry was: Did you know ... that during his 2000 campaign for U.S. president, Donald Trump named Oprah Winfrey as his ideal running mate? |

2016 win
editI see a long-ish paragraph about Trump's 2016 win has been deleted, but there should obviously be a mention of when he literally becomes president. I get that it isn't directly relevant to the article, but neither are his purely hypothetical runs in 88 and 04, both of which are mentioned. Ryanjackson10 (talk) 05:36, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
Aftermath section
editI think his win in 2016 and 2024 deserves mention like the aftermath section in Joe Biden 1988 campaign page. This article never mentioned that Trump later become president. 169.224.3.102 (talk) 08:38, 10 December 2024 (UTC)
