editContent about Ed Hardy Fragrances is not suitable for an "encyclopedia" type biographic entry and does not adhere to standards.. It is advertising and does not belong on wikipedia.
- This article is an advertisement. Nomination for deletion will be forthcoming. Proxy User (talk) 08:38, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
Employees of Christian Audigier continue to hijack this page for use as advertising, which diminishes valuable content about the artist. I removed offending links, consider limiting access. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Waltmorton (talk • contribs) 22:03, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
- Reverted heavy damage in the last 20 minutes. Sorry to any editors, but hell, a set of ips from 142.35.53.xxx went nuts. Also, this page is highly unsourced; the only reason I even leave this note at all is because some of the edits appear valid, but only AFTER the fact that it was initially vandalized, which all took place within the last half hour. Good day. Annihilatron (talk) 19:07, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
Advert
editI've started to remove some of the blatant advertisement from this entry. It read like a press release. I have also added more fact tags. Other fact tags have been on here since November 2008. They need to be cited or the information removed. Wperdue (talk) 03:27, 13 July 2009 (UTC)wperdue
- Agreed, this article is poorly sourced and biased. Cleaned up some redundancy and poorly written sections. Esc861 (talk) 01:47, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
Criticism
editI added the following criticism, which was promptly removed by Robert Mauro (User:RobertMfromLI): Ed Hardy brand clothing, along with its spiritual counterpart Affliction, has been widely criticized as being solely worn by douchebags who are often fans of UFC fighting, WWE wrestling and other similar latently homosexual activities.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]
I believe a criticism section should be added due to the overwhelming amount of cultural criticism of the Ed Hardy brand. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.73.65.10 (talk) 06:43, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- At which point, you decided to vandalize Affliction Clothing with similar content. That has been reverted by another editor already, and I have added another warning to your Talk Page.
- If you wish to add criticism, please be aware that the content you added does not qualify as such RobertMfromLI | User Talk 07:47, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- Why is there no 'criticism' section?? This brand draws a LOT of criticism. --98.232.176.109 (talk) 01:56, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
Since the 1960s? Really?
edit"Since the 1960s, he has concentrated heavily on non-tattoo based art forms, especially printmaking, drawing, and painting." ... uhhhh, is that meant to say "1990s" or something? It's unsourced so I don't know how to verify. --Skud (talk) 07:51, 22 March 2012 (UTC)
Who is this guy?
editI came to this page to find out more about Ed Hardy, the artist. But, there's nothing here to help me understand who he is and what he does. For example: examples of his work and how they differ from the work that preceded him and how his style influenced others.
How can there be an article about an artist without any examples of their work (his tattoo work, not those horrid clothes)? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.21.254.133 (talk) 18:54, 14 April 2012 (UTC)

Simpsons
editThe Simpsons episode Bart the Cool Kid makes reference to Ed Hardy as an example of a business that collapsed after it was worn by and fashionable people so I came to this page to seek clarification but found none Mortice (talk) 23:43, 5 September 2023 (UTC)
- Hi! This topic is covered here: Don Ed Hardy#Brands. What kind of clarification were you looking for? Can you give an example of what you hoped to find? Dreamyshade (talk) 04:44, 6 September 2023 (UTC)
