False information in post
editThis edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
The following statement is false: "In August 2014, it was reported that a Brooklyn non-profit, to which Recchia had been the predominant funder while on the city council, has been subpoenaed by the Attorney General for information relating to its finances.[15]"
This is false information-- no such subpoena has been issued by the Attorney General. This must be removed immediately.
- The source appears to be this Staten Island Advance article, which is based on a report by Capital New York, a site that was acquired by Politico in 2013. I cannot access the "Capital Pro" content. I have therefore searched for other sources. I cannot find any. Since contentious material about living persons that is poorly sourced must be removed immediately, and the content is being disputed, I have removed the material. --82.136.210.153 (talk) 13:31, 15 October 2014 (UTC)
