1. To verify whether WP:GNG is met it may be good to ask users at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Russia as they can read Russian there. I think having multiple news agency articles on the man's death may help, but having Russian speakers check would be great!
2. Having a block prose paragraph versus bulleted points may be a way of dealing with the "resume" tag
