Biography of the missed Aeryn Gillern
editIt is notable that on the homepage for Aeryn Gillern no birthplace is given. He grew up in the U.S. or just because he was born too? It is here also something of a German father and the birth of Augsburg. Both the mother mentioned in the documentation and did not appear well at all from some? This is of course their right, particularly in the tragic situation with the missing person case.
We learn from people in Bavaria that the missing person was staying here again and again and especially in ultra-right political party. Somehow that contradicts the one hand his allegedly deep piety (his mother speaks of his passion for Latin Masses), but also the expectations that the community has a Mister Gay: Photos from all walks of life and loose handling of sexual orientation.
Who informed you are about gays and radical right one comes across such information:
Perhaps that is also food for thought to the question of how torn-shitty situation he was in and was perhaps also hunted by his own "friends"? 91.66.168.214 (talk) 08:15, 1 September 2012 (UTC)
- The English in this note is so bad that it is incomprehensible. Perhaps it was originally written in German and extremely badly translated. Maybe it could be rewritten by someone with competency. SanVitoresII (talk) 03:34, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
Entry needs to be rewritten.
editThe grammar is very awkward and stilted, it would appear it's been written by someone who doesn't speak or read English very well, or used a translation program that's not very reliable. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.158.55.30 (talk) 20:06, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

The long Version of the article July 2012
editAeryn M. J. Gillern disappeared on the evening of Monday, October 29, 2007. It is the unresolved issue of the disappeared UNIDO staff member Aeryn Gillern since 2007.
Biography
editAeryn Gillern was born on April 28, 1973 at Elmira, New York, the son of Kathryn Gilleran (b. 1952). In June 1991 he graduated from Groton High School in Groton, New York. In 1997 Gillern graduated the Franciscan University of Steubenville (Ohio) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in theology. From 1997 to 1998 Gillern attended the seminary at Graz-Seckau (Austria). Gillern 1999 received a Master of Arts with honors in Theology and Christian Ministry from Franciscan University of Steubenville. In 2003 he was appointed by United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Vienna (Austria) committed as a research assistant.
On 16 November 2002, he was under the pseudonym Michael Jackson[1] as Mister Gay Austria and was nominated as a model for swimwear. In 2005 Gillern again nominated Mr. Gay, and in 2006 he was one of the candidates for the Mr. Gay World, Palm Springs, California. In 2007 acquired Gillern his second master's degree in International Relations at Webster University Vienna.
In September 2007 he flew home to his mother, Kathryn Gilleran in Cortland, New York, to visit his family for ten days. His mother was planning to sell their house and move to Vienna to study with her son. On October 27, 2007 Kathy phoned last time with her son.
Investigations and theories about the disappearance of Gillern
editOn October 29, 2007 at about 6 pm Gillern checked in his office in the UNIDO and went out into the Kaiserbründl sauna, in which he decreed on the ground floor of a private cabin (No. 5). At 6:45 pm he is said to have left the sauna again, but the information about it is contradictory. Around 6:30 pm he contacted a colleague that he wanted to meet her in the Center of Vienna, and from at 7:30 pm he sent a text message to his partner, not from it emerged that he had been in an emergency situation. It should then have been a struggle, had been involved in the Gillern, but then he was suddenly broken.
An employee of the sauna stated that he had tried in vain to persuade only a towel-clad Gillern to conversion and the footprints in the snow only to the main entrance of the Franciscan Church were detected. Since Gillern was close to Order of Friars Minor was given as to whether he had sought refuge there and could have applied for admission to the Order. Other witnesses (a German student and his girlfriend) will have seen the harried bare Gillern on the road, but could make no concrete details, as he met them at the Stubentor and then below the Dominican church continued to run toward the Schwedenplatz. By the Austrian police has been suggested that Gillern shortly after leaving the sauna committed suicide. Perhaps he may took have the way to the Weihburggasse, passing the Palais Coburg to the Swedish court and the Urania traveled constantly and there have fallen into the water of the Danube Canal. A fisherman was vaguely to have seen a bald guy in the water, but details were vague and contradictory. The search for a body of water in the Danube canal was abandoned soon appeared, was at least successful.[2]
At October 31, 2007, Kathy Gilleran get a call from a UNIDO staff member in Vienna, that Gillern was missed since two days at his workplace. On November 1, 2007, she flew to Vienna to seek Gillern. In Austria Gillerns friends had reported him to the police as missing. According to Kathy Gilleran, the Austrian police initially refused to accept the missing person report because Gillern was not an Austrian citizen. The UNIDO contacted the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs, which first became involved in the matter. When Kathy arrived in Vienna, she immediately spoke with representatives of UNIDO and the Austrian police.

The boy
editWho was he running from , & who should be my next question. & being as he was Gary & running did the cops hit him then throw him in water to drown ? Troyjwils007 (talk) 13:29, 3 November 2019 (UTC)
- Your topic is not clearly written but I gather that you believe it is important to ask from whom Aeryn Gillern was running out of the the Kaiserbründl sauna. This is a good question. In some accounts of the event, Aeryn did run naked from the sauna and the young couple said he looked terrified, as if fleeing for his life. This is not the action of a person about to commit suicide. Why run to save your life in order to take it? It is nonsensical and the Vienna police must think we are idiots to believe this. You wonder if, perhaps, he was running from the police who murdered him. This would explain their decision not to investigate his disappearance. So far as I can see, this explains a lot about the actions of the police and their attitude. It looks like the police killed him or made him go missing at the very least, perhaps to shut him up.
