I tried...

This page was a big string of copy-pasted unreadable incoherence, with two whole sections dedicated to the metabolism of diepoxybutane (which the author thought started from 1,3-butadiene for some reason, making it the first chemical in history to start the metabolic process from an entirely different compound and become itself). Flat out removed lots of things. WTH does "efficacy" have to do with a polymer crosslinker and rarely used medical test? the section didn't even answer that question. Likewise "side effects" on this compound would be like implying that there was some reason to eat lithium aluminum hydride by adding a "side effects" section. Removed lots of repetitions, explanations of concepts so well known and phrased so strangely that they could only have been written by martians... on PCP... that wasn't synthesized correctly and is causing neurological damage... while dying of CO poisoning. The references still need to be improved, tons of them just point to generic chemical info pages which belong in the infobox.

Anyway I deleted everything that was either a repeat or not really salvageable or relevant and the page is about 1/4 as long. Don't blame me, I was only going to fix one sentence and then actually read the rest of the nightmare and now I just wish for death. A Shortfall Of Gravitas (talk) 15:44, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
