Anglo-Saxon, not pre-Roman construction?
editThe website http://www.devilsdykeproject.org.uk linked at the bottom of the current article indicates that the dyke is of Anglo-Saxon construction from about 500 AD, not a pre-Roman fortification (although it mentions the possibility that the dyke was constructed over a prehistoric structure). In any case, it seems odd that the Wikipedia article makes no mention of this and refers to it only as a pre-Roman structure.
- It's quite obvious that this refers to another place in Cambridgeshire. Macdonald-ross (talk) 14:20, 12 February 2013 (UTC)
