editI believe that the undeliverable portion at the bottom of an artificial reservoir, below the lowest spillway or outlet, is also called a "Dead Pool". References can be found at: http://www.waterdatafortexas.org/reservoirs/glossary for instance, and many other sites regarding surface water management. Shall that be added to the disambiguations?
