Update FAA diagram in inbox.
editHello. The present FAA diagram in the inbox needs to be changed/updated to the most current FAA diagram in the infobox to be effective April 22, 2021. I dont know how to change it. Can you please advise? Thank you for your time.2601:581:8402:6620:304C:CD3D:3958:6A95 (talk) 15:01, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
Likely Erroneous link in History section.
editHello. I refer to this passage.
"... Air Tungaru was operating Boeing 727-100 aircraft nonstop from Christmas Island "
"Air Tungaru was operating Boeing 727-100 aircraft nonstop from Christmas Island ."
If you click on the link to "Christmas Island" It links to https://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Christmas_Island which is south of Java. This incorrect and possibly a result of an incorrect automatic link. When cross checked with the wikipedia article for Air Tungaru https://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Air_Tungaru, there is no mention of this Christmas Island as a destination. On the other hand, the article mentions Kirimati as a destination. Kirimati is an atoll that also shared the name Christmas Island back in the 60s. In 1979, The Republic of Kiribati gained independance and Kirimati acquired its current name. Hence the likely confusion. Both the Air Tungaru article and the Kirimati article mention flights to HNL.
It would have been impossible for a Boeing 727-100 to fly from Honolulu to Christmas Island airport as this is a great circle distance of almost 6000nm which is over double the maximum range of a 727-100.

Can someone please take a close look at this and decide if this is correct?

United's Island Hopper destinations?
editWhere did United's flight to Majuro go in the "Airlines and destinations"? That's been a staple for United (via Continental) since the '60s, so I'm curious as to why it's not showing. Andgo100 (talk) 18:25, 29 December 2023 (UTC)
- I am not the subject matter expert on this, but it appears that the Majuro route is still active. Indeed, there are many domestic destinations (see www
.united .com /en-us /flights-to-honolulu) that are not on the list. My search for united destinations from honolulu
at www.united .com /en /us /website-search / brought back drop down list results of 159 for Domestic destinations & 23 for International destinations. Perhaps one of the more prolific editors of this article can explain more about this since only about eight destinations are listed there. Peaceray (talk) 19:13, 29 December 2023 (UTC)
Architects
editWhile Vladimir Ossipoff was the lead designer for the project to modernize the Honolulu international airport, the project was actually a joint venture between his firm and Sam Chang Architects & Associates. Can someone please make sure that information is added?
