What does this mean?
editI have done my best to update the article in view of Ms Pacheco's death (mainly adjusting verb forms) and to correct minor faults in English, but this one is a bit hard:
She was younger of one of six children of a family poor enough to know what hunger was.
Now, does that mean something like "She was the youngest of six children...", or perhaps "She was the youngest but one of six children..." (ie the second youngest)? If you know which of these is right (or if something else is), could you please edit the article accordingly? I had thought that it was a translation from the es:WP article, and that I might be able to furnish a better translation, but that says nothing about Ms Pacheco's siblings' birth order.Kelisi (talk) 21:15, 21 December 2023 (UTC)
- @Kelisi They are the same word, menor, in Spanish. In context, absolutely "youngest". Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 16:29, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
- Ah, good. Y si, sé muy bien que "younger" y "youngest" son la misma palabra en español.Kelisi (talk) 17:11, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
