History
editI've got a book about Okaloosa County history lying around, I'll look up Crestview and add to the history section accordingly at some point. - Kookykman|(t)(c)
How come there is nothing about Crestview's Football team going to State Championship a couple years back? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.1.69.232 (talk • contribs) 04:16, June 18, 2006 (UTC)
Places to Eat
editThere's 3 McDonald's' in Crestview? I thought there was only 2.
- --yes there are 3 mcdonalds in crestview. 1 on 90 heading west, 1 in the wal-mart area, and the newest 1 is north of 90, by the high school.
Removal/Modification
editI'd like to propose removing or modifying the "places to eat" section. I think it is pointless to list every fast food joint in town. I say either remove it all entirely or change it to a "locally-owned" thing and list a few non-commercial-chain places such as La Rumba's, Coney Island, and Taco Town. Maybe the backwards Burger King. I'll register and take care of this personally if there are no objections/better ideas. 68.180.13.32 04:55, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
okay, i registered and made some major modifications to the "places to eat" section and also the CHS band section... PLEASE NOTE: I don't think either of these sections warrant good reason to be any bigger, future contributors please refrain from bulking them up further if at all possible, thanks. Additions
editHey, I added the mayor and that it is now the official largest city in Okaloosa County. JoeShmoe64 16:30, 11 November 2007 (UTC) :p
Helicopter factory
editSeveral years ago the Pensacola News Journal reported that a company (dont remember who) would be opening a helicopter factory in Crestview. What ever became of this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.166.155.113 (talk) 06:40, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
- Well, it still hasn't happened and I honestly doubt it ever will be. LukiAHR (talk) 20:05, 10 July 2023 (UTC)
- Only thing aviation manufacturing related that's happening is Lockheed Martin scrapping old airliners for parts. LukiAHR (talk) 20:10, 10 July 2023 (UTC)

References needed
editI've again reverted an incomplete population update in this article. An unreferenced population figure was added to the history table without any reference; and the referenced 2019 estimate figure removed. This left the article with a visible referencing error. Further, the remaining population numbers in the prose were left as-is, as were density and population numbers in the infobox.
Changes to wikipedia need to be referenced to be verifiable. -- Mikeblas (talk) 14:36, 11 October 2021 (UTC)
