Can It Be Mentioned Somewhere...
editThat Connor's origin story is a complete rip-off of the X-Men character Magik's origin story, with which Whedon was almost certainly familiar? Magik was kidnapped into a Hell dimension as an innocent 7 year old and emerged moments later as a moody, super-powered teenager. See, because time worked differently in the Hell dimension she'd gotten sucked into. Sound familiar? Maybe this belongs on Whedon's page. But it belongs somewhere on here. This is beyond homage, IMO. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.227.77.90 (talk) 10:51, 22 June 2011 (UTC)

edit"More or Less The Virtual Series" an online fan based novel style series focusing mostly on Faith Lehane, Spike, and Connor that has been going on since 2003 and continues in 2006
Why is a link to a fanfiction series posted as a "See Also"? Is this series sanctioned by the original creator and producers of this show? It doesn't seem like a valid link to put on an encyclopedia reference section.
Species
editConnor isn't a Dhampir, Darla was a Vampire from time of conception to birth. Dhampirs are borne of human mothers and Vampire fathers (or in rare cases human fathers and Vampire mothers). His species should be listed as unknown or removed. 99.235.202.12 (talk) 17:51, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
Article Accuracy
editIs it explicitly stated that Conner was killed by Angel before his memories were altered? That's in the article, and I don't believe that it was ever said that Connor actually died.
Angel slashed Connor's throat with a knife. 76.196.238.127 (talk) 08:41, 20 July 2008 (UTC)NileQT87
if he did have to die to get his new memories then wouldn't that make sahjahn's false prophecy true. "The father will kill the Son" it came true even if Connor didn't stay dead. Rubbykk (talk) 04:33, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
But it was said that for connor to live an ordinary life, Angel must kill him- so in actual fact, connor DID die before his memories were altered.
editEmpowerment
editConnor isn't exactly a mysthically empowered human (like a Slayer), he's a half-demon. He was knocked by the anti-demon violence spell in the Hyperion. --Gonzalo84 16:19, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
I thought the anti-demon violence spell was under control by Evil-Cordy and that she rigged it so that Connor would feel even more excluded from the others. Making him think he was a demon was instrumental in making him think he was special, that he belonged with Cordy and his new familly, etc. I think he's mysticallly empowered human... He is the human son of vampires, that's his deal :p
- It's not outside the realm of possibility that Jasmine!Cordy manipulated the spell in that way, but there's never any indication given that she did. Connor's parents are both vampires, a mix of human and demon, so it makes sense for him to be a mix of human and demon as well. Being part-demon doesn't exactly exclude him from the others, with Angel and Lorne in the group. -- Noneofyourbusiness 00:11, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
name
editI think should be mentioned the name of the baby portraying the character in some season three episodes
Wasn't he called "Connor Angel" at least once? —Tamfang 21:23, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
I think when they took Connor to the hospital (when he was a baby), Fred said he was the son of Mr. Angel. When the doctor asked what was the baby's name, Angel arrived and said Connor. So I think the people from the hospital must have archived the baby as Connor Angel, although I have no memories of anyone calling him as Connor Angel.(Darth Angelus Potter 19:12, 21 April 2006 (UTC))
His blood work is labelled "Connor Angel" in Loyalty. 198.166.41.238 20:23, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
Picture
editI think the current picture is at a bad angle. I don't know how to find and insert a new one, unfortunately. Help would be appreciated. -- Noneofyourbusiness (talk) 04:35, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
Categories
editWhere does it say Connor is either a half-vampire or a half-demon? He's something that defies categorization, really, and neither of those. On the other hand, I think it is as appropriate to tag him with the superhero label as it might be to give the label to Angel or Buffy, in that he is capable of fighting evil and inclined to do so all by himself--something that most other Buffyverse characters don't seem to have, because they either lack the powers (Wesley, Gunn) or intent (Oz, Illyria). Jclemens (talk) 00:23, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
Agree, and also in Powers & Abilities - that section really needs to be changed, he (Connor) lost a fight twice to his father Angel, which is okay, but his scrap with Faith was not for-real; it was more like a tiff as Connor was behaving immaturely and Faith was asserting her authority and experience over him, but there was no real intent to hurt each other so Faith/Connor was not a real fight, and the section shouldn't say she bested him in combat. Also, the section doesn't mention that he can bench-press 1000 pounds as he said in Season 5; wouldn't this be classified under "Powers & Abilities"?Oposie (talk) 17:54, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
- In "Orpheus", Faith took down Connor violently because he was trying to kill Angel, and he lost. They fought and she would have beaten him had Angel not stopped the fight.. Slayers are slightly stronger than vampires (Angel reminded Buffy that she was stronger than him in "Sanctuary"), so it is reasonable to assume that, if Connor can be beaten by Angel, then a Slayer can beat him. Also, while he does defy category, as mentioned several times in the show, he was repelled by the sanctuary spell that the Furies put up, meaning that, while his internal biology is completely human, he is not. He is probably something along the lines of what Skip turned Cordelia into. kingdom2 (talk) 19:38, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
