Examples

edit

This article is crying out for some examples of work. Anyone done any original ones they can upload themselves? Also how about a step by step approach? Tyhopho 18:17, 16 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

I will add some examples shortly Doogie57 (talk) 10:40, 16 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
I have now added an example. I think it should be lower down the page under the older examples. Sorry I am not very experienced at this. Doogie57 (talk) 18:39, 19 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
These were later removed despite my ownership of the copyright which in had signed over as it was thought I was 'Promoting your own website and/or your work on Wikipedia is covered' Doogie57 (talk) 13:26, 4 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

‘Multiple Printing’

edit

In the UK this was the commonly used term for ‘Combination Printing’

certainly from the late 1960’s when I became aware and began using the process. I shall add as references some Photo Magazine articles entitled as such which have examples and some step by step approaches. Doogie57 (talk) 10:39, 16 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Process re 'Combining negatives’

edit

In the Process section it appears to state that the result is a combined negative. This can be achieved but as described you would end up with a positive image on film. (Unless you were exposing on Kodak Duplicating Film in which case you would have a duplicate negative). This process is used to expose a Photographic Print from a number of separate negatives thus retaining the original quality of the original negatives.

This should be made much clearer.
