Criteria: 1a. prose ( ) 1b. MoS ( ) 2a. ref layout ( ) 2b. cites WP:RS ( ) 2c. no WP:OR ( ) 2d. no WP:CV ( )
3a. broadness ( ) 3b. focus ( ) 4. neutral ( ) 5. stable ( ) 6a. free or tagged images ( ) 6b. pics relevant ( )
Note: this represents where the article stands relative to the Good Article criteria. Criteria marked   are unassessed

1. Well-written

  • Re-write the first sentence to describe what the subject is. Something like Columbus Airport is a public-use airport located four miles northeast of Columbus, in Muscogee County, Georgia, United States.
  • Are there statistics for 2023 or 2024? (No worries if not).
  • FAA records say the airport had 84,387 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2022... Write out Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) since this is the first time the acronym is used.
  • ...and in November 1942 its use was offered... Add a comma after "1942"
  • On January 21, 2010, airport was renamed from Columbus Metropolitan Airport... Add "the" before "airport"
  • The 2021 project increased the capacity of the terminal building for airline operations, and added seating... The comma after "operations" isn't needed
  • Runway 30 is equipped with visual approach slope indicator. Add "a" before "visual slope indicator"
  • In the year ending November 30, 2022 the airport had... Add a comma after "2022"
  • ..average 103 per day.. Change to "average of 103 per day"
  • 132 aircraft were then based at the airport: 106 single-engine, 13 multi-engine, 7 jet, 2 helicopter, 1 glider and 3 ultralight. Re-write this sentence so it does not start with a numeral.

2. Verifiable
The sources used are reliable. Passes Earwig's. Spot check: 8, 11, 13, 24, 27, 28 and 29, 33, 35, 37, 40, 48 - All fine.

  • 5: The Muscogee County Airport Commission was established under an amendment to the Constitution of Georgia on April 9, 1968. I see that ref. 8 supports this fact but cannot find the support for this in ref. 5.
  • 6: After the merger between the governments of Muscogee County and Columbus at the start of 1971, the Muscogee County Airport Commission became the Columbus Airport Commission. The source provided supports the fact that there was a government merger, but it doesn't show the name of the airport commission changed.
  • 57: On July 19, 2009, at around 6:15 pm, a Rutan VariEze crashed shortly after takeoff. The pilot was the sole occupant and was killed. This reference doesn't support the type of aircraft and does not confirm the pilot was the sole occupant.
  • References 2, 4, 8, and 53 need the date you retrieved the source.
  • References 52 is a dead URL and needs an archive link
  • Is reference 8 supposed to have a link?
  • Reference 35 appears to link to the wrong press release- it should be this one.
  • Columbus Airport has historically provided passenger, cargo, and charter flights to several destinations in the Eastern United States. As of November 2024, the only regularly scheduled services at the airport are two to three daily passenger flights to Atlanta and a daily cargo flight to Memphis. This paragraph needs at least one inline citation.

3. Broad
The article covers the major aspects of the airport.

4. Neutral
No concerns here.

5. Stable
The article is stable day-to-day.

6. Illustrated
Images are in the public domain, free use or have non-free use rationale. They are all relevant and have suitable captions.

@Mccunicano: I have completed my review, and my suggestions are in the bullet points. -Riley1012 (talk) 19:13, 11 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hello Riley1012 and thanks for reviewing the article. I've gone through and made changes based off of your recommendations. I would appreciated if you looked over those changes. There are a couple of points I'd like to touch upon: Reference 8 was from a letter that I could not figure out how to include here. Reference 5 is similar, but the legislation can be found within a word document within the page linked, it's under "GA_Legislation._Cols._Airport_Commission.docx". ❯❯❯ Mccunicano☕️ 20:25, 15 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
Okay, all of the changes you made look good to me, and I will pass this article. -Riley1012 (talk) 21:53, 15 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
