Author
editHe also wrote a number of books.[1] Some of the books are credited as by Colin D. Willock and others as by Colin Dennistoun Willock and in still others the bookseller description implied that the author's name is Colin Dennistoun writing as Colin Willock.
I have excluded foreign language editions in the list below.

Novels
edit- The Animal Catchers (1964)
- Animal Catches (1964) (this may be a typo and needs additional research to see if it's The Animal Catchers. Some booksellers seem to be using OCR software to scan the covers and then not carefully proofreading the results as I'm running into instances of the letter "L" being entered as "I" in titles.)
- The Coast of Loneliness (1971)
- The Fighters : A Panoramic Novel About the Fighter War in the West 1939-1945 (1973)
Nonfiction
edit- Kenzie: The Wild Goose Man (1962)
- The World of Survival The Inside Story of the Famous TV Wildlife Series (1978)

Time Life the Worlds Wild Places

- Africa's Rift Valley (1974)
- The American Northwest Coast (1985)
- The Great Barrier Reef (1985)
- Labrador (1985)

- The Sahara (1985)
As editor
editWillock served as the editor for the following works:
- The Bedside Wildfowler (1966)
- A Continent in Danger (1966) (by Vincent Serventy)
- Grey Seal, Common Seal: An Account of Life Histories of British Seals: A Survival Book (1966) (by R. M. Lockley)
- The Man's Book (1958)
- S.O.S. Rhino (1967) (by Guggisberg, C. A. W.)
regexp I am using to help spot titles I have not researched: ^\* [a-z :',0-9.-]+ \(19[0-9][0-9]\).*
There is also an older book that must be from another author with the same name:
- The Poets of the Nineteenth Century (by Colin Willock, editor, published in 1857)
The Survival (TV series) confirms that these were written by the same Colin Willock as the one who worked on the TV show. Some of the books are novels and so they should be separated out. --Marc Kupper|talk 09:18, 4 January 2015 (UTC)
