Fair use rationale for Image:Cold Station 12 (ENT episode).jpg
editImage:Cold Station 12 (ENT episode).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:19, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

I haven't reviewed an article for a while so I might as well review this. Should be up soon. Good888 (talk) 17:34, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
Lead
- Doctor Arik Soong is linked in the plot but not in the lead.
- Done. Miyagawa (talk) 11:03, 30 April 2015 (UTC)
Production
- "There was several swing sets created for the episode, specifically to cover the scenes filmed on-board the station." Shouldn't that be "There were" or am I mistaken?
- Corrected to "There were". Miyagawa (talk) 11:03, 30 April 2015 (UTC)
- "that the character appeared o screen, played by Richard Riehle." On screen.
- Someone else got there quicker and fixed it before I could! Miyagawa (talk) 11:03, 30 April 2015 (UTC)
References
- None of the references are broken for me at least.
- Link TrekNation and Den of Geek, the latter under Dennis Publishing.
- Done. Miyagawa (talk) 11:03, 30 April 2015 (UTC)
- Sorry for taking a couple of days to respond. Anyway, promoting to GA class. Good888 (talk) 16:39, 3 May 2015 (UTC)
External links
- What makes Memory Alpha a reliable external link? Curious.
- Well I certainly wouldn't use it as a source - but it is the main Star Trek specific wiki out there, and so we generally link to the relevent articles from all Star Trek articles on En Wiki. Miyagawa (talk) 11:03, 30 April 2015 (UTC)
Going to place on hold. Good888 (talk) 11:32, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
Ratings
editAccording to Zap2it the ratings of this episode were 2.1/4,[1] please note that these are the fast ratings from November 6. In this case they happen to the same as the final ratings reported by TV Tango, 2.1/4 and 3.4 million viewers[2] but the overnight ratings are not always necessarily the same as the final ratings. (Viewers 3.390 million according to ABC medianet[3] but it seems better to stick with the figures rounded to 3.4 million.)
StarTrek.com said these were the best ratings of the year so far.[4] This is accurate if you understand "year" to mean this season of the show, and not the calendar year. Declaring a high point after the 5th episode isn't exactly profound, but other episodes did get similar ratings (although not necessarily higher viewer numbers) and only the series finale got clearly unambiguously higher numbers.
StarTrek.com also said that the show was "up 68% in total viewers from the same night last year" but that does not appear to be accurate at all, not in any way I can see. Looking at this episode (Cold Station 12 November 5, 2004) and the corresponding episode from the same the previous year (Twilight (Star Trek: Enterprise) November 5, 2003) the audience numbers are down, and even if you compare this episode to the 5th episode from season 3 (Impulse (Star Trek: Enterprise)) the numbers are down. So I have be carefully to only use part of the comments from StarTrek.com that I can corroborate. -- 23:11, 15 July 2021 (UTC)
