• Is there any more detail about why he chose Oregon? Was he offered scholarships to other schools?

In any case, I looked at Newspapers.com since they tend to be a little better about high school athletes, as well as the Ducks website, and couldn't find anything besides his commitment to Oregon, so I think he kind of went with the first school that scouted him. — GhostRiver 17:28, 9 January 2022 (UTC)

• Additionally, pitchers began avoiding Bellinger where possible. This doesn't make sense, the article does not mention pitchers refusing to go up against him. Maybe re-word this so explain that pitchers avoided certain throws against him (which is what I assume you meant).
