Court Case
editI thought there was a court case at some point by the residents to be allowed to stay?Ratherhaveaheart 20:25, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
I believe there were a FEW court cases, and one happening that appeared as though the city would lose the land, that was when the sheriff's department forced everyone off.--24.205.134.122 06:14, 23 November 2006 (UTC) Here is a helpful site [1] containing a flash animation, I believe they talk about court cases in there.--24.7.70.133 21:10, 3 December 2006 (UTC) Daniel Paredes
Request cleanup
edit- Article has been wikified. Recommend fleshing out significant events, World Series, concerts, religious events, etc. that will fill in the history until the present.
- Request a suitable photo (either human or aerial) of the era.
- Request a map showing the be provided (pre-Dodger Stadium recommended; post probably acceptable). Ronbo76 07:00, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
The external link, "The Fascinating History of the First Jewish Cemetery in Los Angeles" needs to be removed or corrected. Goes to a diet drug advertisement.--Pacosam (talk) 04:58, 6 April 2014 (UTC)
Freeway Series
editWouldn't it be one of the homes of the series and not the home since they play at Angels stadium as well? Brianopp 07:35, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
Chávez vs Chavez
editNone of the sources for the article use an accent. It seems like an unusual usage. Wikipedia prefers the most common name over the most accurate name, though I'm not sure the accent is even accurate from an official point of view (though it's probably correct historically). Any reason not to move it to "Chavez"?" Will Beback talk 05:42, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
- Let's move it to no accent. Binksternet (talk) 15:03, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
- PS: I'm surprised at the lack of photographs - the LA library has a trove of them. We oughta find some that we can use. Will Beback talk 08:56, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
